GAC Prize Winner Announced

After months of dormancy and checking with the bean counters, I'm ready to announce the winner of Gint-A-Cuffs III.

But first, feast your eyes on the prize.  A hobby box of Topps 2011 Allen & Ginter's World Champions cards.  Suitable for ages 6 +.  This prize is brought to you by the good folks at Topps.  My thanks to them.

And the winner is, Chris, from the Nachos Grande blog.

Thanks to all that have participated in this year's festivities.

Chris, your winnings will be out the door shortly.  Thanks for your patience.

People, bribe me more next year.  This year was pathetic.

Another Sponsor

Strat-O-Matic has agreed to hop on the train wreck contest that is Gint-A-Cuffs. Here's a bit of info about the game company:
Since 1961, Strat-O-Matic has created the most realistic simulation of statistically accurate baseball. Every player is rated by Strat-O-Matic’s unique rating system with statistical precision in each phase of the game – batting, pitching, defense and running.

Strat-O-Matic Baseball is played with the exact same rules as professional baseball. Each major leaguer has his own Strat-O-Matic Player Card based on his overall stats from the 2009 season. The gamer controls every aspect of each play from determining the starting line-up, stealing, hitting and running to replacing the starting pitcher. Instead of a bat and ball, the gamer uses dice, player cards and charts to play the game.
They've ponied up a few copies of their Baseball game and those will be added to the prize pool.

Don't forget to let me know if you're interested in participating. Boogie on.

It is a hobby box of 2009 Topps Allen and Ginter's World's Champions Color Picture Cards. When the wrappers have all been recylced, all cards scanned and a winner has been announced, I shall ship this box off to said winner.
